With a career that has spanned multiple prestigious roles, I have dedicated my life to advancing opportunities for the most disadvantaged and marginalised and fostering social entrepreneurship on a global scale.

My journey

I come from a family of political refugees who fled Franco’s Spain for a better life in the UK. It is thanks to the sacrifice of the generation before mine and the education I received in the UK, that lead me to have a career as a CEO for over two decades after a career as an Executive in the private and not-for-profit sectors.

In my career as a CEO, of several high-profile organizations, I have specialised in leading organisations through periods of growth, change, and challenge. Under my leadership, small organisations have grown to large; regional organisations have become national and even international and failing organisations have been turned around to become successful ones.

Throughout my career, I have been deeply committed to making a positive social impact. Whether through education, healthcare, or other social initiatives, my work has consistently focused on creating meaningful change in the world.

Executive Leadership

I have been a CEO for over 20 years in a variety of roles but there have been two common themes in all of them – they have all involved a positive transformation of the organisations I led, and I have always worked to ensure that their work had the maximum social impact.
My work has been recognised with numerous awards, highlighting my contributions to leadership and social impact.

Speaking Engagements and Mentorship

I am passionate about sharing my insights on leadership, social entrepreneurship, and organizational development. I have had the opportunity to speak at conferences and events worldwide, inspiring audiences to think creatively and act boldly in their efforts to create social change.

Mentoring young professionals and emerging leaders in the non-profit sector is one of my greatest joys. I provide advice and support to help them achieve their goals and make a meaningful impact.
